Ready to Rent Workshop: October 20, 2008

(Raleigh, NC)  Wake County Human Services is holding its next Ready to Rent workshop series on Mondays in October from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. This program of the South Wilmington Street Center is geared to help those with troubled rental histories find acceptable housing.

The Ready to Rent Program:

  • helps you improve your credit
  • explains tenant responsibilities
  • helps you with budgeting
  • provides referrals to local landlords for qualified participants

Vision Credit Education will be providing the 3-hour credit workshop on Monday, October 20 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The purpose of this workshop is to help you understand how your crediit is scored, how landlords might use your credit report to evaluate your rental application and what you can do to improve your credit on your own.
