(Raleigh, NC) The South Wilmington Street Center is hosting its next Ready to Rent workshop series as a project of Wake County Supportive Housing. The workshop will help those who have had a difficult time renting an apartment, even with a history of evictions or bad credit.
The Ready to Rent Program:

- explains tenant responsibilities
- helps you with budgeting
- provides referrals to local landlords for qualified participants
Vision Credit Education will provide the 3-hour credit course on Day 3 (Wednesday, November 12). Find out why your credit is so important when trying to gain approval for an apartment lease. Also, we will review how you can order your credit report for free, how to understand it and what steps you can take on your own to improve your credit.
