Ready to Rent Workshop: February 19, 2009

Event Dates: Monday and Tuesday, February 16 and 17; Thursday and Friday, February 19 and 20
(Raleigh) The Ready to Rent program returns to the South Wilmington Street Center beginning Monday February 16. Please note that there is a break on Wednesday in which no class will be held.
This workshop will be geared toward credit improvement and budgeting so that participants are more likely to be approved for an apartment rental. This is a community service of Wake County Human Services and Vision Credit Education.
The Ready to Rent program:
- helps you understand how credit works
- empowers you to repair your own credit
- teaches tenant responsibilities
- explains budgeting tools
- establishes relationships with participating landlords
Vision Credit will provide the credit workshop on Day 3 (Thursday). Find out how your credit is used to determine approval for apartment rentals, employment and insurance. Learn how your credit score is calculated and what you can do to improve your credit score.
