Ready to Rent Workshop: April 18, 2009

April 11th, 2009 by Kenneth Long

(Raleigh, NC) The Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network is hosting the Ready to Rent workshop series on Saturdays in April. Vision Credit will be supplying the credit education portion on Saturday, April 18, 2009.

The Ready to Rent workshop series is a project of the Wake County Supportive Housing Program (SHoP). By partnering with nonprofit organizations such as Fiscal Progress, Vision Credit Education and the Family Resource Center of Raleigh, SHoP is able to bring in financial experts to teach the financial skills needed for those having trouble gaining rental approval.

Participants receive twelve hours of financial education needed to help put them in position to gain rental application approvals. This can especially helpful for tenants who have past evictions or collection balances related to previous apartment or housing rentals.

Find out how you may take control of your credit by preserving positive accounts and resolving negative items on your credit report. We will show you how to do your own credit repair for free without using outside companies.
