Ready to Rent is a program offered through Wake County Supportive Housing to help you find decent housing. If you have recently been denied on a apartment leasing application, this program could be for you!
The Ready to Rent program:
- helps you improve your credit
- explains tenant responsibilities
- helps you with budgeting
- provides referrals to local landlords for qualified participants
Vision Credit Education has partnered with Wake County Supportive Housing to provide the credit improvement course that is part of a total of 12 hours of instruction. The 3 hour credit class helps you understand how your credit scores are calculated, what can be done to improve your scores and how your scores are used when applying for rental housing.
The cost of the Ready to Rent program is $25.00 payable to Wake County Supportive Housing. To find out when sessions are scheduled, see our listing of Ready to Rent workshops. Locations include:
